The first project of Deep Garden Design, a permaculture design group, is a forest food garden demonstration site on  3/4 acre in Athens County funded in part by a two-year $6000 SARE grant.

Food We Love created in 2000 by ACEnet, is a regional brand program for specialty foods and farm products from Appalachia Ohio.
