Locavore Lunch, Rural Action Sustainable Agriculture

Monday’s Locavore Lunch will feature two seasoned local food advocates, Tom Redfern and Bob Fedyski, sharing updates on Rural Action’s Sustainable Agriculture (RASA)programs: The Chesterhill Produce Auction, the Country Fresh Stops Project, and ohiofoodshed.org. As the key Rural Action staff they lead educational, marketing, branding and food security initiatives to support farmers and local food partnerships throughout the region.

Locavore Lunches provide space for local food and farmer entrepreneurs, their partners and community member to gather for lunch to share information and support our robust local food economy. Locavore Lunches are hosted by Casa Nueva in partnership with ACEnet support. To be sensitive to attendees time constraints, Casa offers a lunch pre-order option on the website. Please rsvp and order one of the special Bodega lunch choices for fast service.
